i just bought the ATi tv wonder ve.
im trying to get my ps2 to work on my monitor. so i have it all hooked up, the yellow a/v video to my video capture device and the red and white a/v audio connectors hooked up to my audigy 2 through an adapter. the audio works fine but the video doesnt work.
i would like to know how to get the video to work, i installed all the drivers but am out of ideas, theres probebly nothing wrong with the hardware, just i have no idea how to use the software. i dont have component video hooked up to the card, just my ps2.
if anyone has this device and knows how to use it, please tell me.
thanks

You probably have to use the TV program and change the connector to the composite (or where ever it's connected)

If you don't know what I'm talking about, start reading the manual.

TV program will not open. i went into device manager and this is what i found:
device manager>>sound, video and game controllers>>ATI tv wonder video capture>>resources>>
resource settings: this device cannot find enough free resources it can use.
if you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system.

ive never experienced anything like this. what should i do? this is on the computer in my sig.

The card probably wants its own IRQ and can't seem to get it. Move it to a different slot or try to manually change the IRQ in the BIOS or drivers. Or you could do what it asks and remove or dissable something that uses the PCI bus.

so putting my card in a different slot can/will fix the problem?

Maybe, you'll have to play with it a bit. Try to disable things you don't use first. If you don't use onboard sound or RAID make sure that it is disabled, etc.

its working! thanks for the help guys. it works great, i got my tv and ps2 hooked up now. im never gonna leave my computer, im never going to sleep!! the quality is pretty good for a video capture card, not as nice as on a tv, but its close. everything in the video games works great. go out and buy a video capture card NOW. they are quite possibly the coolest thing ever. (especially if ur too lazy to get up from ur computer and walk over to the tv)
