i never tried this before because always been happy with my view sonic G90 F graphics montior but i want to see whats its like playing on a big scree any advise

Don't forget that tv sets has lower resolution than computer monitors so take this into account.

so what the size of the screen smaller what things do i need and should my tv be a high depth

I don't think screen size matter for getting better resolution. Only HDTV-ready tv sets has a slighty higher resolution but not much more. But the bigger size of the tv make the experience more enjoyable :)

I tried once to do a lan-game with 3 plasma TV we are installing in our company and it is a blast to see it run Quake III :p
