I know this has been answered here before, but I cannot find it anywhere in the search. I have a radeon 9700 mobility and i have the problem where the the s-video out works but when playing media it works on the laptop screen but not the tv. Anyone have the fix for this or can link one of the other threads? Thanks
 
Click on the button with a dot icon (as opposed to the one with the two screens) when you go to turn on the TV-out.
 
are u using the omega drivers or the catalysts?
its a problem with how the drivers deal with the overlay streem
you have to engage the tv out in a specific way from the driver controll panel.
if you can give me a little info on driver version and type i can write up a guide for you. (was going to make one anyways for some clients)
