I know this is a computer site, but tvs are almost indentical. I own a sony trinitron A68JMT50X, Its about 15 years old. It has been stored in our garage for about 7 years. About 4 years ago i pulled it out just to tryit, turnes on and looked great. Recently our water heater broke and tv was in direct path of it. This past week i took it out and looked at it. The vhf input looks corroded with white stuff on about half of it. Which is located at the lower half of the bottom. Everything else lookes fine, but when plugged in, no action occurs. Right when you plug it in you can hear it click just one. Is it fixable or should i just throw it away. Its about a 20 inch tv and has been with us for forever. Can anybody help me?
