Well I have a ATI TV wonder VE Remote Control Edition. The program tells me that it is in mono while flipping through the channels. It is plugged in to the line in port. I have to have the line in muted though or else I get a crazy reverb echo. Also I tried plugging it into the MIC jack and then it made very loud popping noises while changing channels. Also all the channels are pretty clear but one, any idea on what that could be? I just updated all the drivers and up to the newest media version. I was having problems before with the mono sound...I read on the site that the Tv Wonder can do stereo, please help me out. I have right clicked and tried to change the audio preference but all that is available is mono...

I could be wrong, but I think that the VE (value edition) only does mono sound input. That's one of the differences between the different types of ATI TV tuner cards.

As for your one bad channel, that's very common. It's probably interference or a weakened signal. Try to hook up your computer to the cable in a different part of the house to test that theory.

Hope that helps.
