hey
does anyone know how can i turn on a power sluppy? it came with my new case and i dont know if it is working or not so i want to test it. i dont have any of the psu turn on thingy, or i can not connect to a mobo and check if it works becase i dont want to EVER open up my computer again (i mess around too much when im inside the computer) does anyone know how to do this???

Connect the green wire to ground. This is in the casemod faq and can also be found quite easily by searching.

Go to the case mod forum and look at the case mod faq. It is under 'power supplies'. There are very clear instructions with pictures.

Go to the main forum listing and look up a few. It is called 'Case Modding'.

to make things more simpler, follow this

on the ATX power cable (the one that connects to the motherboard)... find the green wire.... then using a paper clip or wire or anything that conducts electricity, connect that green contact part to ANY black wire (ground)... that turns the psu on.. if its not on, make sure you have flipped the switch on the back of the psu for the AC power (household power)

good luck and be careful
