I hope i'm posting this in the right place.

I have a 22" LCD monitor which is currently NOT being used.

Is there any way to turn this LCD monitor into a TV without a connection to my PC?
In my bedroom, there is no computer. I want to be able to mount the monitor and somehow be able able to watch T.V on it, without the use of a computer.

Looking for cheap solution, otherwise I would get a T.V :D

Thanks for the reply.
This looks good.

Will scale properly on a widescreen monitor tough? non of the resolutions include wide format.

Thanks again.

Well there is an aspect ratio button on the remote that allows changes on the fly.
However i think the various supported resolutions are fixed.. im not to sure though if it changes the resolution when you press the aspect ratio button, as I have not played with the settings much after i originally set it up.
The one i selected can do up to 1920x1200 which is 16:10 widescreen format resolution
From their site "800 x 600, 1024 x 768, 1280 x 1024, 1440 x 900, 1680 x 1050, 1920 x 1200 "

They do sell various other models, some which also alow digital inputs, with HDMI etc.
None of which i needed for my particular application but you might want to check them out, maybe one of the other models is better suited to your application.

I can report that overall the one i bought is doing its job, and so far so good with no problems.
Oh one thing that is not easily seen on the website, is how small these boxes are.
They can basically fit in the palm of a big hand.. so if you really wanted to you could probably tape it to the back of your monitor ( although i dunno how well the remote would work then)
