Turion MT or ML???

If you really want to overclock a notebook processor, I would advise looking at a Dothan.
 
Dothan do overclock well, but the procs still suck for games. the FP calcs suck. Desfinately OC the MT imo.
 
I've got more than one bud that has a Dothan 1.6GHz @ 2.3GHz or better, Dothan's rock. Get your info straight.

I'm interested in the Turion info myself.

My best guess, given I haven't had time to keep up with everything lately, the 25watt Turions are probably the best of the bunch, low voltage and high temp capability. That was the story for the Athlon XP-M processors.
 
It looked like you missed my first phrase. I said that the Dothan OC's well. However, the PC is rather weak for games. It has been proven in an article at anandtech. Do your homework and read a little better.
 
My bad, late night and too much going on. I misread "do overclock" for "don't overclock".

I still argue the performance point, its definately respectable, but hey... we're in the AMD forum, I'd rather see the guy get a Turion anyway.
