Ok so I have an odd ball NLX formfactor motherboard and i have tryed to find a NLX case for it but none have worked so far/ I am going to make one out of a tupperware type container/
Question is, Do I need to use traditional type motherboard standoffs ? ( or any at all )

thanks

no, plastic is a insulator.. the brass stand offs are only to keep the mobos solder points from grounding out on the case

I would still use standoffs though as plastic can create ESD and bond the standoffs (atleast one) to the PSU ground wire (Black)

I too suggest using standoffs to make a more clean installation also :)
