I just bought a tuniq tower and I was wondering if it will fit in a raidmax smilodon case? Also will it cause stress on the motherboard since its big or will it be fine? Thanks.

I'm not sure about your case, but I know I had to move my window fan to the outside of the case on my thermaltake aguila midtower. Aside from that, the motherboard should be okay when you mount it. I think I did notice a *little* curvature on the motherboard after screwing in the tuniq tower, but nothing significant. It's pretty stable once you have it attached.

Installed properly with the backplate it'll be fine.Email the case manufacturer and they will get back to you with proper data.Personally I limit myself to 650 grams with fan (why I chose the new V1 ) as I like to have my pc on my desktop, next to my LCD's,and my table gets nudged and knocked a lot,a little here,a little there, and the next thing you know... :D Just be careful.Place your PC case on the floor. And if it has to be moved more then a littel, unmount the sink first.especially if you are moving the case from one residence to another.

GL !

thanks, yea my pc is on the floor... my table is occupied by 2 flat panel monitors, speakers, keyboard and mouse so theres really no room for it*kind of small desk* well I guess ill just wait and see and if it dosen't fit, the sidepanel will say hi to a dremel :D

I just installed a tuniq in my 3 year old raidmax storm case. I have a side panel with a window. I had to cut me a new side window from thiner plexi glass to get it to fit. Now it's still pretty tight in there.

I installed my heatsink and then went to put the little +4 pin connector on, and it was buried under mine tuniq tower and I had to take it all out just to reach that plug in.
