I currently have my Tuniq Tower installed vertically with the sharp ends of the fins pointing towards the video card. Is this the correct way to install it? My idle temps are about 50c on a q6600 G0@3ghz with 1.248v and that seems a bit high. The room temperature is about 85F. Should I be installing it like this picture:

I'm using an Antec P182 as my case.

are the fans on the heatsink blowing out towards the back of the case?

If you have a top fan then you should mount it the way in the picture,it'd blow the hot air up toward the top fan.

just make sure the fan on the heatsink is blowing air out or to the exhaust fan. Either from the rear or from the top.

I reseated my TT like the picture and it seems to be working a lot better. Temps have dropped down about 8c or so. Thanks!

There are two good ways to mount it: either so that it blows up out of the top of your case or back out through the back exhaust. The way you have it mounted in the picture it could be blowing either up or down, but up is better.
