how do i find out how big or small of tubing i would need? can i get any? if i can get any size, what would be best. thank you

I've had a couple different sizes and types of tubing in my setups. Tygon, Braided and Clearflex all seem to work well. My current setup is using 5/8" OD and 1/2" ID clearflex tubing - it seems to be doing the job :)

Just watch out for kinks when using Clearflex and use elbow joints if you have to. Try and keep them to a minimum unless you have a powerful pump. I've also found that using a heatgun to bend the tubing helps immensely in eliminating kinks - don't melt if though ;)

What is 1/2" ID tubing?

I'd like water pumps for $100 alex.

ID = inner diameter. OD = outer diameter. Get the 1/2" ID Tygon. I messed with the various kinds of vinyl and it is ASS. Tygon all the way. It doesn't stretch out like Vinyl and it doesn't kink, either. It is DEFINITELY worth the premium.

lol, uz still didnt answer my question really, does it matter what size? if it dont what would be the best size? lol thx

it really wasn't that apparent. this isn't exactly a humorous folder.

I got it shortly after, the alex was a giveaway, I liked it, but didnt exactly laugh or show any of my friends.

i've just got through all your posts, and i gotta say this once and for all. DO SOME DAMN RESEARCH.

you're asking questions about things that can easily be looked up on google if you spent some time. just asking a question and getting an answer is not going to help you in the long run.

agreed. Just by asking questions and having questions will not get you where you want to go. If you read up and think about how it all works together you will have a much better understanding than just asking what you are curiuos about. (You won't obviously be curious about things you NEED to know yet, because you don't know you need to know them!).
