I purchased a 12V DD-D5 Pump to replace my dead Asetek waterchill pump....the problem i have is that the tubing size this pump uses is 1/2" or 3/4" ID Tubing ...The tubing im using with my blocks is 3/8" ID 1/2" OD so it wont fit....I went to Lowes and home depot but could not find any barbs or adapters that willl fit my pump and tubing size....I searched danger den and they seem to not have it for this pump....SO where can i find barbs like this....

i had the same trouble 3/8 blocks an the D5 with 1/2 ports
what i did was a combo 3/8 and 1/2 loop because i didnt want ugly reducer
so i have a 1/2 inlet on my storm and 3/8 in the rest of the loop
then from my res to the intake of the pump is also 1/2

the problem with that is my waterchill blocks have push on fittings...so i have to use 3/8"ID 1/2"OD tubing that came with it

yea as long as you pick 1/2 down to 3/8

thanx...so i should order the one from dangerden with the adapter size 1/2"ID to 3/8"ID and i will be good to go....

So why not contact Laing and see about getting one of the pump tops that has provisions for threaded fittings?
