Why did they put it where they did. My 2 case fans keep the case at 27C but because that stupid little thing measures the case temp not the CPU temp its at bout 1250RPM and the CPU is at 47C! (Duron 1800)

Has anyone moved the thermistor by extending the wires? Can anyone suggest where to put it? Im gonna do it tonight and i've got all the stuff
