Only problems are it's not expandable, and it's pricey.

Just picked up a 9700 at the Plano Fry's for $70...they don't give em away huh? My buddy with a C2D switched from water to a Zalman 9500 and said it was only like 3c dif too, and definitely better than what I'm getting with the SI 128. I'm anxious to see what real difference there is between these 2 coolers...hopefully, I won't have to abuse the Fry's return policy because of lacking improvementJosh_Norem said:Just get high-end air cooling. I water-cooled for about three years, and then finally went to a Zalman 9700 for my Core 2. It's actually a few degress cooler, just as quite. No water hassle.
