Tt Giant III + Asus P4C800-E???

I was just wondering something here and I thought that maybe there'd be someone out there with this combo up and running (or have attempted it). I've been reading up on some reviews of the Giant III and I am going to be picking it up in less then a month but.....

Does it not look like the Giant is going to interfere with the NB heatsink on the P4C800-E???

Again, I was just wondering if anyone has already tried this combo and if it worked out or not. I know that this thing is gonna net me some nice overclocking gains but if it doesn't fit then there's not much I can do.

fits on my P4P800 and from what i gather the p4p800-e just has the heatsink rotated 45 degrees it is the same height though so you should be fine.

no promises though.

Thx for the input, that does make me feel a little better. I'll go check out some pics of the two boards side by side to verify.

Which one of these two board designs have you got???

Whichever one you've got, I don't think it matters a whole lot. The NB cooler in both examples is seen to be the same height as the CPU retention clip.....as is mine. Things are lookin' good indeed.....especially if yours is the angled "version" and isn't flush with the AGP slot.
