Hey guys, this is a bit of a dumb question, but I was wondering if anyone who has this case can tell me if it's possible to remove the Tsunami Dream and Thermaltake logos. I really can't stand the way they look!

I should have this case some time in the next few days from FedEx. I'll let you know if no one else does by then.

Never mind, didnt realise how they were attached. Note to self, stop posting on the run and do research first...

Man, I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one that feels this way. The same thing goes for the Cooler Master Cavalier 3. I'd snatch up that case if not for the big "Cooler Master" type running down the front.

Can anyone help recommend a case for me? I'm looking for one that's under $200 Canadian, has a front door that covers the bay area, and doesn't have any whack engrish on it. So far, the front runner is the ever popular black Chenming 601A.

Here's what's going inside (should be here within the next few days):

AMD Athlon64 3400+
MSI K8N Neo Platinum
eVGA 6800GT
2x Corsair CMX512-3200C2 DDR 512MB
Barracuda 7200.7 200GB
Antec TrueBlue 480W
LiteOn DVD+-RW Dual 8X4X/8X4X CDRW 40X24X40 Black
1.44MB Floppy Drive Black

Hey Fob, I like the Lian-Li PC60 series. You can find some at CanadaComputers.com, all under $100. They're good, sturdy cases with no fancey frills. Maybe a bit too dull for your needs but worth the look!

JD, thanks man, I'm looking forward to your response.

BakedGoods, I'm sort of considering a Lian-Li, but if I go this route I'm wondering if I should just get a Kingwin. They seem pretty much the same, and they're cheaper. I've also been looking at some of the SilverStone Lascala cases, but I'm not so sure how good they are on a functional level.

You can remove the logo by using the "Premium Paint & Epoxy Remover" shown here:

It is harder to remove the logo from a black aluminum surface than from silver color, but they should come off after a few tries. Depending on the quality of Thermaltake's logo printing and surface treatment, you may still have some very slight paint residue. But you probably won't notice it unless you look closely.

Just got the case last night. Sorry, logos are NOT stickers. Looks like you'll have to use the "Premium Paint and Epoxy Remover". Also note, the glass side panel has "Thermaltake" imprinted into it, which is a bummer. I don't mind though, this case is sweet!

I may be getting the black Tsunami Dream. So I can just use the "Premium Paint & Epoxy Remover" to remove the logo? It won't ruin the black on the case (I'm not sure if its just painted black)?

JayD, so you have the case now? How are the stock fans on it? Are they good? I may replace them with Enermax adjustable fans.

When I last saw the Tsunami case, the outer front door was anondized so I wouldn't worry about the paint & epoxy remover damaging it. But becareful not to get it on other painted surface or plastic parts (you certainly don't want to touch it with your barehand either) since that stuff is pretty strong.

I think the fans are great on this case. They have all been running for about 24 hours straight now, and I've had no problems. They seem to be of high quality, so if you are thinking about replacing them I would recommend just buying the case with the stock fans to see how you like them, and if you still feel they aren't sufficient go ahead and upgrade. On another note they are somewhat loud, however its nothing a fan controller can't fix.

Yeah, I think I'll just see how the stock fans do before I decide to purchase replacement fans.

By the way, would you happen to know the RPM the fans run at? If not, thats ok.
