need some assistance...first of all, pertinant info.
asus a7v 8x mobo
wd 80gig ide master drive, set to default jumper
2 x wd 36gig raptors, drives set up in the fasttrack raid bios, striped.
so windows sees a "Promise 2+0 Stripe/RAID0 SCSI disk device" in the hardware manager, with a little exclamation point on it. it says "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)." ok, no big deal, go to the asus website and find the promise fasttrack drivers. found those, but when i try to update the driver directly, it says it doesn't find a better one.
is there something stupid i'm missing here? i've never done sata or raid before.
