so i moved my parents b&w DM 602 stereo speakers from my parents tv to besides my computer monitor to see what Doom 3 would sound like compared to my little crappy sony speakers.... (i have been for a very very long time wanting to buy an identical set)....and when the speakers are placed on both sides of my monitor my monitor freaks out on the edges!!! it is a NEC 19" crt...the edges of the monitor became blurry depending on the volume of the speakers. i promptly looked online to find that the speakers are not magnetically shielded and that it interferes with CRT monitors but not LCDs. so i now have money and am thinking about spending approximately 600 dollars on a nice 19" 12ms black LCD monitor but i cannot find one anywhere. I read in a Barnes and Noble in a magazine about this samsung monitor exactly with the specs that i had stated for 600 dollars.. Does anyone remember what monitor that was? That was really what i was hoping for but i cannot find it, i have looked at my local best buy and newegg and miscellaneous online retailers that i could think of, even checked at sears. If anyone knows of this monitor or remembers it i will really appreciate an answer :) thanks

17" 12ms lcd retail is about $600
actual price is about $400

i dont believe anyone has released a 12ms 19" yet
or i have yet to see one for sale....

as far as gaming goes
get a pair o shilded speakers and get a good 21" crt

hehe. wouldn't some nice shielded speakers be a lot cheaper than a $600 LCD ? :)
