This morning my pc decided it wouldn't boot anymore. To be more specific it will not post or display the vid card bios. The system and cpu fans power up and the LED on the mobo by the ram lights up.
All the other components have been tested in other systems and a working psu tried in this one. Which leads me to think: its either the cpu or the mobo, an xp2200+ on a K7s6a mobo. I've check all the wiring and think its connected properly. This has happened once before when the thing was still in warrenty so i dragged it in and the store bloke repaired it and said something small had blown (i think it shoul've cost £17 if i had paid for it) but thats as much as i remember. Where do I go from here with working it out and repairing/replacing bits please?

sounds like a mobo issue if you've already verified everything else that could have been the problem (PSU, memory, etc) worked in a diferent machine.

If it is still under warranty, rma it.
