You should try a free 30 day Tidal HiFi trial and compare it to whatever service you use now. It sounds worlds better than paid Spotify and Pandora. Blows Amazon digital sound quality out of the water also.

I have no room in my home for CD's. So maybe they still sound better than Tidal HiFi. There is a 50% discount for the Tidal HiFi and regular Tidal service for students.
