Here are the results p95/LinX with a Zalman 9700 (1st pic) and a TRUE 120 (2nd pic) 13-14c lower load temps :eek:

I would like to have a TRUE 120 but its as big as a house! A 6"+ tall cooler is just ridiculous! I'm mad :mad:

How does the TRUE 90 compare?
 
if you need a smaller hs/f, the tr ultima 90 and the xig sd964 cool just about as good as the true.
 
nice drop in temp, your result makes me want to upgrade my CNPS9700 to TRUE120 too!

I bought the TRUE in hopes my chip would do 4GHz but didn't work unfortunately none the less I'm still content with the temps especially for a 24/7 over clock. Just for those that are curious about ambient temps I still have my heat on set to 72f so ambient temp is in the range of 72-77f
 
Dang, I've been on the fence about upgrading my Gigabyte G-Power Lite which has been reviewed to be identical temps of a Zalman 9700, you almost got me sold on it, but thinking it wouldn't be more than 5*c better on my 940BE, sigh, what to do, Is a S1283 Dark Knight or S1283 Rifle as good as a True (from what I read its less work to get great performance out of them).

Great hearing your results though.
 
Is it just me or are the 9700 temps lower? Why did you test the TRUE with a full load vs the 9700 idle?

Zalman 9700 in the 1st pic p95 was finished testing after a little over 2hrs and Linx using 1024mb memory was also done but you can see in Real Temp the load temp and idle temps of the cpu using the Zalman 9700 are in fact higher 2nd pic LinX was done using all available memory 20 pass test and I was still testing using p95 shooting for 12hrs The voltage using the True was slightly higher too, I think you may have misunderstood the pics.

Oh I see, I was looking at the current temp instead of the maximum. Being that the 9700's screenshot was taken hours after testing and the TRUE's was taken while testing, I got confused. I would have taken idle and load temps of both so it's an apples to apples comparison.
