Troubleshooting PSU

So after getting random but persistent freeze and crashes that my "new" build is suffering from, I'm starting to suspect my PSU (XFX XXX 650) as the culprit.
Now I know some of the known "troubleshooting" that are suggested by the users on this forum:
-buy a PSU from a vendor with good return policy and try it out
-use multimeter (I'm such a noob; have no idea how to do this)

My question is:
Is there things that you can do on the software side to check for ths PSU instability?
That is other than that generic events viewer error: Kernel Power 41 critical error that lots of people seem to have?

If there's already a thread on this topic, please kindly direct me to it?
Any help would be appreciated~

If you are asking about a software that will give you the ability to monitor your PSU, from what i understand, there isn't something that will give you accurate readings.
From what i've read, only by using a multimeter/power tester will have accurate monitoring

Yes, I was asking about that.
Although I was thinking more along the line of software that can tell if there was a spike or drop from PSU right before it causes my crash.
It doesn't necessarily have to have an "accurate" monitoring.. but just indicate when there's an "abnormal" spike or droop

Yes I agreed It is better option as compare to buy new PSU but my question is that how we can find that software ?

From what I've used, there are couple of softwares that can check and "monitor" the cpu and gpu voltage (I believe CPUID stuff work) but I don't know how to have them actually record the change before the computer goes out.

Because... you know... it would be impractical for me to stare at the UI of the software until my computer crashes....
