I'm taking care of a network I setup with a W2K3 server and a SonicWALL TZ180W takign care of routing. Every few weeks, I have to reboot the server due to DNS issues. I have the W2K3 SBS box taking care of DNS, while the SonicWALL is handling routing, I have all DHCP clients pointing towards the server. I set the DNS server to forward all external DNS requests to the ISP.

Do I need to do something else, or re-do the DNS config?

Is DHCP on the Sonicewall DISABLED? If not..it should be.
Let the SBS box do it's job..which includes running DHCP, and naturally it HAS TO BE the DNS server for all of its clients. The routers LAN IP should not be handed out as a DNS server to the clients, nor should your ISPs DNS servers.

Also run the Microsoft BPA on your SBS box. Best Practice Analyzer.

The server should also be using itself as its one and only DNS server, as well as WINS.
