hello, i would be thankfull for any help i could get with my problem

i dont have my own burner, so i use other peoples when i can. the one i currently have access to is giving me trouble. i just made a random cd with documents etc., it burned just fine but when i stick it in my computer, it reads really slowly. and if i try to copy stuff from the cd to my hard drive, then it will go really slowly and it fails on about 75% of the files. however in the drive i burned it on, it has no troubles reading the cd. does any one know how i can prevent this from happening? i really need to back up some of my data soon(my computer has not had troubles reading burnned cds in the past. nero 6 ultra editon was used to burn the disk)

please ask for more info, if i have not provided enough already.
thanks, mally

Could be ur CDROM drive is crapped, or your using really cheap and nasty CDR's or writing at too high a speed.

Try the discs in another machine/drive.
