trouble with omegas

I just installed the latest omega drivers on my thinkpad, and the performance of far cry went from great to greater, but now doom 3 will not run at all. I click it and the loading screen comes up (the one that says "doom 3" and you can still see your desktop behind it), but then it goes away and nothing else happens. I tried reinstalling the game and the drivers, but nothing works. I didn't have a problem running the game on medium with the regular ati drivers, but I would like to use the omegas for it. Any help is appreciated.
