Trouble with cat 4.12..HELP please

I keep getting the message "setup was unaable to find components that can be installed on your current hardware......"
 
did you use driver cleaner in safe mode and install in safe mode?

or instead of using the .exe driver install, you could extract the files and install the driver through device management.

My friend's 9600Pro alway had this problem, so I'd always have to extract driver from the exe and install in device manager.
 
don't forget to get Driver Cleaner 3 and use it first to clear out all the old ATi drivers
 
Did both of those things...still the same error... :confused:

Itis not jsut the 4.12..any driver I try to insall is doing this...wtf?
 
#1 that's a hell of an overclock you have on that card so i wonder if it may be part of the problem. try lowering that a little and see what happens.
#2 aren't the 4.12 drivers beta? could simply be a bug with the drivers.
