Trouble with AA CCC

Hey all,

I just recently built my computer last Friday with the powerful HD 4870. However, I have a question about the AA on the card.

I fired up BioShock after updating my Vista 64 and getting settled in nice and cozy, and noticed that the game itself doesn't support AA through the menu. Which is fine since I read that you need to change it through CCC. I read about edge detect and how you set it to 8x in the CC and it will scale to 24xCFAA respectively. However when I cranked it to the full AA through CC, I still noticed aliasing in the game. As far as I'm concerned you shouldn't see any aliasing in texture edges with maxed AA.

I'm a little confused... any guidance? Is there other settings in CC that I missed?

Running Bioshock in DX10 mode, doesn't allow AA IIRC. Only in DX9 and only forcing it through the control panel.

Hmm... well as far as the rest goes, did I at least try it correctly? lol

It seems like it, but trying to do it in a game that doesn't support it in DX10, will not help you much :)
Try other games and override the game's AA settings, to see if it's really working.
