I recently did a clean install of XP on my MSI nf4 SLI rig. one of the last items to be re-installed was my Alcohol 120%, which has served be pretty well. but upon install this time, i get a BSOD. when i re-booted i get "New Hrdware Found..." for PnP BIOS Extensions, and an error installing the driver for PnP BIOS extension.

i have manually edited the registry and removed the entries for the Alcohol 120 *.sys files and my system (re)installs the PnP BIOS Extension driver, but i am out a virtual drive to mount my images and such...

anyone else have this problem? i was thinking about Daemon tools, but i dont wanna open another can of worms, and was curious if this was an issue with the nVidia nForce4 chipset or simply a matter of me having to upgrade my A-120. i am skeptical on an upgrade, if for the simple fact that there is no real answer from Alcohol-Soft's site.

any ideas?

thanks,

xxGriff
