I'm trying to update Xandros to support 2GB of RAM on the EeePC.
I've been following this guide
http://www.wikihow.com/Upgrade-Memory-in-an-Asus-Eee-PC
but when I get to Step 7 where you use the vi editor, I get stuck.
It says "Use the cursor keys to move down to the first entry (paragraph) for "Normal Boot". Place the cursor on the first line of this section."
when I open the vi editor, I just see a bunch of dashes filling the screen except for the very bottom line and pressing the arrow keys does nothing to move around

any ideas?
thanks

You need to research how to use VI it is very hard text editor.

I recommend just using nano instead. Its more than likely installed as well.
