To flush DNS:
Start > Run > cmd >ipconfig /flushdns
Try that and see if that works.

is that the best educated answer i get? i have gotten the memory error before at hardforum but never had the trouble with the back button on here before. again this is the ONLY site that gives me trouble.zero002021 said:Because IE is crap.
yes i think you are right. it makes the click sound but i have to push the back button twice. also one of the flash ads on the side of the page would give the "page cannot be found" instead of loading. anyway it starting working fine a couple days ago but thanks for letting me know im not crazy. lol.PopeKevinI said:I'm not sure how the ads work on this site, but I'll venture a guess that what's happening is the banner ads are loading new pages and what's happening is you're clicking back through a couple of framed ads before you back out of the full page I remember that used to happen on a lot of sites. The ads don't load on my system (work blocks them) so I can't say whether this still happens or not.
Are you hearing the *click* sound that usually indicates a page loading?
edit: They're right that IE6 is crap, but I'm never satisfied to give an answer like that. IE doesn't normally behave like that, crap or not.
