I'm having trouble logging into the forums. I can not log in at all in Firefox which is my main browser. I am using version 3.6.13.

The forums will take my username and password, the screen will change and display the thanks for logging in message along with my forum name, then dump me back to the main forum page as if nothing happened.

When I try to connect using IE8 it takes about 10 tries to get logged in after doing the same sequence of events as above.

Is this a forum issue? My isp doesn't seem to be having any issues on any other websites.
 
Which domain are you using to access the forum? hardforum or hardforums.com, and with or without the www.? Try a different variation and see if it starts working.
 
I just followed the link from the main page which was hardforum.com

However, switching to hardforums.com allowed me to log in with no issues. Thanks.

Wonder why this started happening all the sudden?
 
www.hardforum.com used to forward to hardforum.com, but I believe that was turned off when the forum settings were reset recently due to the hacking issues.
 
Did you clear your cookies & cache from your browser, restart your browser, then try logging back in?

This worked for me 3 times today :-/

Gonna try switching to hardforums as my link.

Okay, switching to www.hardforums.com from hardforum.com made me get the login success screen but then it wouldn't stick. Going to www.hardforum.com worked perfectly and so did hardforum.com but with the latter I had to clear cookies 3 times today. Gonna try sticking with the www.hardforum.com

Okay, Firefox 3.6.13 is behaving exactly the same as my IE8 8.0.7600.16385. www.hardforums.com does not work on either browser but hardforum.com and www.hardforum.com work perfectly. I will update if I have to clear my cache to stay on www.hardforum.com

Okay, just had to clear cache using IE8 and Firefox using www.hardforum.com :-/

I keep getting the 503 error no matter what I try.

If a mod has any ideas they want me to try I'm more than willing to help :)
