I am trying to install windows on a raid 0 partition. When im in setup Vista see's the drive and allows me to partition and format it, but when I click the install button it says vista cannot find a drive which meets it's criteria.

I downloaded nforce drivers for my 680i chipset browsed to the sata raid drivers via my usb drive but I still get the same message, plus one that says my motherboard may not support booting from a raided drive and for me to check bios settings. I know it's setup for booting, I made my raid 0 my boot device.

I looked all over the net and can't find anything specific to my situtation.

I am installing from a dvd which is in an external USB drive.

Anyone have any ideas?

I was finally able to install Vista by uplugging my raid 5 array. Why having two disks would totally make it impossible for vista to install is beyond me. I think it has something to do with it not knowing which one is the active disk if they are both new.
