I am looking for a good one that will extend close to 60 inches tall and is durable, flexible, and needs to have the bubble float levels. Can you guys help me out? Have any advice or what do you use and are you happy with it?

So i guess no one here uses tripods......you guys must be l33t photographers..

:D

all depends on how much weight you want to carry, and how much you are willing to spend

I am looking to spend $80 for a tripod as this will be my first. By flexible, I need it to allow for a range of heights from say 60 inches down to say 12 inches and preferrably have the some sort of self leveling feet. I like the idea of the retractable spikes to for use outdoors. The bubble level are nice feature as well.

Bromide monopods are good. Just not for shots where you will be doing timed exposures. They are great for quick steady shots, like when you are hiking and see an animal or, a scene that is nice but, dont want to hassle with setting up in the case of the scenery. I use mine like a walking stick with a camera head on it.

well for arround 80 bucks you can check slik model line. go to bhphotovideo and take a look arround.

Look for a tripod that have individual adjustable legs.

Thanks. I have ordered two different ones. One is a Slik and one is a Sun Pak. I will send back the one i don't like. i appreciate the comments
