Triple Screening with a laptop

so my docking station for my D630 has a vga and dvi on it. my plan is that I want to triple screen. so two monitors and a open laptop. is this possible in xp?

theoretically would three monitors popup in display settings? or do i need to install something?

I would try it right now but I am not at work due to the weekend. just wondering what i need to prepare before heading in.

The most displays your onboard video is capable of using is 2. Either 2 externals or 1 external and the laptop LCD. The only way is to purchase additional USB-based video adapters. That'll allow you to use more than 2 screens with your laptop.
