Triple Monitors

Hey,

I'm trying to setup a 3-monitor config at work. Here's my hardware:

ASUS P5KPL-AM EPU
1x PCI-E Radeon 4800 Series
1x PCI Nvidia FX5200 Series
Windows 7 32-Bit

Everytime I boot into Windows, I get "Device Cannot Start" on the NVIDIA card. I tried using the onboard video, and got the same error. I have various options in the bios such as:


IGP
PCI/IGP
PEG/IGP
PEG/PCI

I've tried them all and either the NVIDIA card or the onboard, whichever I try simply doesn't start. If I select PCI/IGP it works, but only on the NVIDIA card.

Any other configuration, I get my dual screens fine on the ATI card - but nothing on the third be it IGP or PCI.

Any ideas?

PEG/PCI is what you want.

Why it doesn't work is another matter entirely. I don't know, it should.

I have it set to PEG/PCI right now.

I see in my Device Manager:

ATI Radeon 8500 Series
Standard VGA Display Adapter (!)

I tried updating the driver and it knew what card it was, it said the correct drivers were installed for "NVIDIA GEFORCE 5200" - however it states

Device Cannot Start (Code 10)

I'd go into the BIOS and check what the PNP OS Installed option is set to. You want it set to Yes, but if it already is try setting it to No and see if it works. And if it has an option for Assign IRQ to VGA try with that enabled also.

PNP was set to NO - Works great now.
