I am looking to get a tripod head who makes a good unit? Some told me Really Right Stuff Bh-55 does any one use one?

What are you going to be using it for? Video? Huge telephoto lenses? Studio stuff?

Well a good budget ballhead is the Manfrotto 486RC2 and for pan tilt I have a 3047.

Look at a Markins or Kirk BH-1. Lots of decent choices out there, but budget range is huge so you'll need to find one that fit your budget and uses.

I've got a Manfrotto 488 which is ok and a decent value, but not the best head around. Suits my needs though.

I need up getting a good RRS Bh-55

Really Right Stuff makes good products. I am very happy with my Manfrotto 488RC2 as well.
