I read in a post that to get trim and gc to work you need to log off
I have had no problems is this true

I have not set op op I only have 20gbs on my drive should I mess with op?
 
You don't need to be logged off for the garbage collection of TRIM'd blocks. Just some drive idle time will do it.

Your drive is already over-provisioned 7%. Over provisioning any additional space won't really do anything for you, but will just reduce the amount of available disk space, for no added benefit.
