Trifire 5850 Eyefinity glitching?

Hey all having an odd problem with my new eyefinity setup. For some reason, whenever I have crossfire enabled, any game that supports it has a colossal amount of tearing. When crossfire is off or a game doesn't support it, everything runs fine across all three displays. Frustrating as I just got the monitors for this after waiting for a month while they were stuck in customs! Thanks in advance!

Additional info:
Using DVI and an active certified DP -> DVI adapter

Stuff I tried besides turning off CF:
Removing overclock
new drivers
latest application profile install

UPDATE: Seems that when I use only two cards in cf the problem goes away. Hoping it isn't a bad card :(
UPDATE 2: Just a side note, when running trifire on a single monitor everything works fine.

2 of them should be hooked up DVI to DVI and one hooked up with an ACTIVE displayport to DVI adapter. All cables should be hooked up to your first card.

All monitors need to have the same native resolution.

make sure all your crossfire bridges are correctly installed

I had 2 6970's and when I switched to 6990+6970 I had a ton of problems too with 3 GPU's I finally gave up and did a clean OS install and everything has been working great since..

You can try switching cards around until you narrow it down to the one with the problem....
 
Did all of those things. Could dust be a problem too? Gonna be giving the thing a much needed cleaning today.

Btw here are the specs:
i7 920 4ghz
3x XFX 5850
12GB DDR3 1333
1.5TB HDD
TUniq Ripper 1000w psu (which may also be the problem, gonna look for any failed capacitors when I clean this thing)
 
So cleaning didn't help anything. Can't get to the bottom card without disassembling the entire PC thanks to my friggin massive Susano CPU cooler. Could it be an overloaded power strip? Too many things plugged in?
 
Just a little update, have a much better PSU on the way as that might possibly be the culprit based on my admittedly limited testing.
