Ok so whenever I turn on my computer it says that the power extension cable is not plugged into my video card, which it actually is.

When it first said this, I took out all the wires and stuff and redid it hoping that would fix the problem. Then I turned the computer on. It works! Everything loads up nicely except It said I am missing a file called asam or something like that. The reason it said I am missing that file was because I never got to finish my reformat.

At the part when it needs to restart this is what happened (not exact wording but this is what I remember): "Restarting in 8.. 7.. 6.. 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1.. ** power off **. Starts back up, and the first thing that pops up again is the evil "Please connect the power extension cable to your radeon 9800."

I've spent all day on this and really dont know what else to do, so if you have any tips tricks or suggestions PLEASE FEEL FREE TO HELP ME.

thanks so much!
