Hello all,
I have noticed a problem with my Pentium 2.4C processor. Even though it is clocked at 3.4 Ghz at this moment, some software will still display its original 2.4 (2) speed. For example, I signed up for the Everquest II beta, but the software I downloaded to test my Computer Specs rated my proc @ 2.4, and did not mention its true speed. I think I got rejected for the beta because of my processor speed. Also, some games will auto-configure graphics settings based on the speed of the processor, in which case I often get the message "Your Processor speed is too low to play this game" which is rediculous.
If you know of some software which can trick Windows and other software into thinking that my processor speed is at what ever I set it, please let me know.
I want to put 5Ghz
