I was wondering if anyone had any tips on sleeving cables. My problem is that when I cut my sleeving and try to get it over the cables it'll start to unravel, and make it look really tacky. Any suggestions are welcome.

tap the ends on a hot stove, not so much that it fuses all the ends together and you wont be able to stretch it at all.

you can use a lighter to burn a bit of the loose ends.. not too much... just enough to hold the ends together and still able to stretch

when i did mine last night. I found that what he said about the stove is true. but as a smoker the old trusty bic lighter does a fine job also. just wave it at the ends
here is a link that helps.
