They patched the heck out of Tribes 2 which made the game excellent.

Yeah Tribes 2 devs were good about releasing updates. Hell, I remember once they even released a reverse patch to downgrade the game. An update was causing servers to lock up left and right. Wasn't discovered until after it was released into the wild.
