hi, looking at getting 3 6950's and was contemplating if its to much. Trying to research it, but still unsure. Presently i have a 30" xhd3000 and 2 dell 24's. granted the 24 30 24 is not a ideal set up, i do plan on either trying to sell the 30 and getting a smaller center monitor at some time, maybe.

i was considering grabbing sli 580's and saw the chance to do 3 6950 and maybe oc t0 6070.

other then having a decent cpu and a power supply, is the only reason to have that many vc's .. reasonable? should i just go 580x2 or 6950x2..

more questions to come!

thanks in advance!

oh.. sorry. i am a gamer. looking at bf3/mw3, kotr, wow and any other eye candy game. while money isnt my primary concern, i dont mind spending or waiting alittle longer to get something.

thx

I would try two 6950s first, if you think you could use more power grab another.

go 6950x2 first imo since the price is dropping from all the bitcoin miners trying to sell off their rigs. if 2 isnt enough get a third. kepler gpu should be coming out in Q1 2012 if you dont mind waiting on that.
