I am planning on watercooling my tri-sli 480gtx evga set up. This will be my first watercooling experience so i could do with some advice.
Firstly equipment. I realise these gpus will be putting out quite a bit of heat so i was thinking of going for an external Phobya extreme nova 1040 radiator. This takes 9 fans so i think it should be enough. I was going to go for ek full cover blocks - do i need back plates as well? Do these blocks come with barbs? Also how do i connect the three cards together? Is this what linking blocks are for? Detailed instructions on this would be appreciated.
Would a single good pump be enough for this considering all the tubing going to the external rad? I was looking at the Alphacool laing D5. Is a top needed?
Any tips and advice will be greatly appreciated.
