Hi all,

I will soon be relocating to another city, and I was wondering what would be the best way to transport an LCD safely? I will not be using a shipping company or anything - just pack up my personal effects in a couple of boxes and ship them via the post office. I'd want to take slightly more care with my LCD though, so I was wondering which would be the best method to ensure my LCD moves and stays in one piece. I have all my original packaging.

(i) Post office. Just another parcel with the rest of my stuff

(ii) Courier - Fedex UPS etc. Will cost me a bomb though!

(iii) Check in baggage - it should be possible to organize my things such that I can check in the LCD box as my second piece of check in baggage when I fly.

Opinions?

Hmm... the post office would be my vote. baggage is the safest, but that seems like too much bother.

I would think that the original packaging should be the safest, if you still have them around.
