alright now that i took the plunge into the wonderful world of LCD monitors, i need to know the best way to transport them.
after i graduate in 2 weeks, im going to be moving. space is a big issue (one of the reasons i switched from CRT to LCD before the move), so i dont really want to have to move it in the dell box/styrofoam that it came in. it's pretty huge and would take up more room than my CRT would.
how do you people transport your LCDs? is there some sort of LCD carrying case thats on the market somewhere? should i just wrap the screen in towels and put it in a smaller box?
with my CRT, id just put it screen-down in my backseat, but no way id do that with my new monitor.
and just as a side note, i have the 2005FPW, so it's 16:9 and not standard aspect. ive seen the one case on thinkgeek, but i dont think a widescreen would fit in it.
