I've just bought a 700D case to transplant my current build into.
i7 920 D0 stepping
12GB OCZ Gold DDR3 1600
2x XFX Radeon HD 5850 running a Crossfire config
1x XFX 9600GT for hybrid PhysX

My current build is a bit of...a monstrosity. It started out as a a simple Gigabyte case that was gifted to me in near perfect condition from a co-worker who no longer had any use for it:

apologies in advance for crappy cellphone pictures.

eventually...it ended up being heavily modified for watercooling:

the current plans are to work all of that gear (minus the larger res) to fit internally inside the case. Quad radiator on top blowing out, both triple radiators on the bottom in the PS compartment. Still trying to determine a fan orientation for them, either both blowing in the same direction (in one side, out the other), both blowing out (drawing cold air from the bottom) or both blowing in (with the air being directed up towards the inside of the case)

Yes, I do realize now that all those rads are a bit overkill, but I was originally a bit overzealous in my original parts buying, and since I've got the parts, why not use them? :D

The case itself arrived last night!

a little beat up, but still in great condition:

I...was not prepared for how large this case was actually going to be. the best word I can think of to describe the scale of the case is, "gargantuan"

I was barely able to fit it in my car. The box for the case must have been at least 30"x30"x12" A picture of the box next to my foot for comparison (I wear size 7-9.5 depending on the brand):

Nevermind, I looked at some pics and figured things out.

the top will be modded to fit the quad 120 (i've seen other build logs on this site and others of people doing it)

on the bottom i've seen people install dual 120s and/or triple 120 rads sideways with a relocated power supply. I'll be using a power supply extender to give myself a couple more inches to work with to get both rads down bottom.

I'm pretty sure I saw a log where a 480 rad was in the bottom and the PSU was located where the HDD bays are underneath the 5.25" bays.

made a couple more purchases today.

to cover up the hole i'll be making on the top of the case:

a pair of handles (will end up bringing this to a lan party or three every year)

and a couple of power extensions, as I don't feel like sleeving everything:

sucked it up, and started cutting the hole:

it looks a bit off center in this pic as the front of the case has been removed. when the front of the case is on it's even

with the fan shroud on top:

side angle:

i forgot to take pictures while i was blue printing on the back of the case, but here's the hole:

with the extender and a spare power supply installed to show how it will eventually look:

with a shot from the inside:

I haven't secured the power supply extender yet, but that's up next on the to-do list.

unrelated:
holy crap why doesn't this forum resize photos into reasonable sizes

COOL! I want to do some stuff to mine, but I don't know what yet. Even though I'm going full water, It still REALLY needs a side panel fan. I was thinking of the 250mm from Performance PCs, since it comes with a bezel to keep it pretty. I'd like to use a different one, but I can't find anything that will keep it stock-ish looking.

I had...a horrendous buying experience with Performance PCs and would recommend against them.
What case are you using, a 700D as well?

If you're going for a fan that big, it'll be hard to keep it "stock-ish" looking IMO, but you can still do some really cool stuff that will make it look like it belongs.
