Transplant Acer Homeserver possible?

Is it possible to transplant the 4 hard drives containing my windows home server into another server and run the existing OS as a virtual machine wine retaining its expandability? My Acer Homeserver is full and I cannot expand it as I am out of HD slots. My X58 machine has plenty of space, however. Would that work?
