Oh, and the game has an awesome soundtrack just like Bastion :D

Is the gameplay the same? The combat in Bastion bored the heck out of me and I've tried to slog through it several times since I love the narrator and everything but combat.

It looks pretty similar. Very cool art, but I also got a little bored with the Bastion combat. This looks more my style, but I might need to hear a little about what others think first.

I'm one of those rare people who loved Bastion's combat even at the end because of different weapons and its upgrades (galleon mortar and calamity cannon ftw). I've already bought the game and here's a few differences in combat that I noticed:

1. There's no normal attack, every attack is skill based.
2. You can pause time and select your next few moves (run from A to B or choose to attack using your skills).
3. You gain levels and unlock new skills.
4. You can put one skill inside another for some crazy combinations.
5. When you die, the last selected skill (between 1-4) will become unusable for the rest of the combat and you regain health with only 3 usable skills. If you put one skill inside another and you die, both of them become unusable.

I've only finished upto the first boss, so there will most likely be more to combat than the above. But I'm liking it so far.

BTW, this time the narration is performed by your only weapon- the talking sword and you pick up bits of the story from terminals scattered around the world.

Thanks for the info, that actually sounds pretty cool. I'll keep an eye on it for a bit since I have a game surplus and time deficit. :D
